Lol I notice a lot of the time that my "friends" cut contact

with me the minute they get a gf.. then when they break up with her they want to talk to me again ... even though we stopped talking for months.. 😑

    It happens because you are often not allowed to talk to the other gender when start seeing someone in Korea. Well yeah sometimes they do that because they are so into their gfs/bfs though.

    @ry the most ridiculous culture is that it's not enough to avoid talking to girls but you should also show your jealousy cuz it is seen as an expression of love in Korea. I broke up several times because I didn't get jealous when my ex(s) told me she was going to a pub with another guy.

    @ry whether or not I said I loved her didn't matter. They thought that I didn't love her to the extent I got jealous of other guys talking to my gf. There are outliers like me tho. I feel more comfortable and happier in Canada. A friend of mine (Canadian) and I concluded that Korean guys who maintain an interracial relationship for a fairly long time are usually those who do not assimilate into Korean culture very well
