Ça résonne un peu avec le climat ambiant dans nos pays paisibles, d’ailleurs. Fin bref lisez ce livre (lisez Mishima tout court en fait!!) 🇺🇸 Mishima here questions the human capacity for cruelty—not in spite of beauty, but because of it… I love this dizzying intuition that beauty, when taken to its extreme, becomes unbearable and calls for its own destruction. It kind of echoes the atmosphere in our peaceful countries, too.
