What does the "Allow access to the web version of my profile" option in Privacy mean?

When you enable the "Allow access to the web version of my profile" option, you grant permission for others to view your profile on the web version, including the following information:

• HelloTalk ID

• Nickname

• Profile picture

• Native and learning languages

• Self-introduction

• Your latest posts

 

If this option is disabled, users attempting to access your profile via the web will be automatically redirected to the HelloTalk official website.

 

How to share your profile link and access the web version:

1. Go to the "Me" tab in the app.

2. Tap the "Share" icon in the top-right corner.

3. Select "Copy link" from the panel that appears at the bottom.

4. Open a web browser and paste the link into the address bar to view your web profile.
