Looks like the rest of the week will be full of long twelve-hour days too, The good news is I’ve got next Monday off, which means I’ll actually get to enjoy a three-day weekend thanks to the holiday. From the wonderful people I met and spent time with to the breathtaking sights I encountered, everything felt new and exciting. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I quickly adjusted. The food was exceptional, and the overall convenience—whether it was the trains or even just stopping by a 7-Eleven—made everyday life feel effortless. I’ve genuinely fallen in love with Japan and hope to return later this year for a longer stay. It was about a 40-minute walk from my hotel. Unfortunately, it rained all day, so the view wasn’t as good, but it’s still something I’ll remember forever.
