We form a circle and dance while going around. It is one of the events that symbolize summer in Japan, held all over Japan in August. Ramen, Unaju “eel bowl”, Teishoku. Teishoku is a common menu in Japan. It consists of a main dish, side dishes, pickles, rice, and miso soup. What I ate that day was Japanese-style fried chicken, chicken cream stew, simmered eggplant, and pickles. Unfortunately, he fell ill after arriving in Japan and we couldn't meet, but he gave me souvenirs. Norwegian liquor Aquavit and chocolate. Aquavit has a very strong alcohol content, too strong for me to drink straight, but it was very delicious when enjoyed in a highball style with its botanical aroma. The chocolate was perfectly sweet for Japanese taste, and the wonderful aftertaste was not just sweet. I am grateful to my friend who brought these gifts from afar! I enjoyed Norwegian salmon, vinegar-cured sardines, cheese, and sausages.
