When He wanted to create trees, He addressed the earth. But when He wanted to create man, He turned to Himself. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness.” If you take a fish out of the water, it will die. If you take a tree out of the soil, it will also die. Likewise, when man is separated from God, he will die. God is our natural environment. He created us to live in His presence, because only in Him does life exist. Let us stay connected to God and remember that water without fish is still water, fish without water are nothing, soil without trees is still soil, and trees without soil are nothing.
