En la tarde decidí aprovechar de mi día libre y hacerle a la perra de mi hermano un nuevo abrigo, así que hice el molde de cero y lo terminé, solo me llevo 2 horas! After that, I baked a chocolate cake for Merienda and I did my yoga practice at 19pm. Honestly I'm soo happy with this practice because I can do things I never imagined!! Es elegir a qué queremos prestar atención, qué merece nuestro tiempo, qué persona queremos ser. Porque el problema no es que no tengamos enfoque, sino que muchas veces lo dirigimos hacia lugares que no nos nutren. En palabras de Ban Breathnach, siempre existen dos jardines en nuestra vida: uno de escasez y otro de abundancia. Y es nuestra atención —nuestro enfoque— lo que determina cuál de los dos cultivamos. Reflexionando sobre esto me di cuenta de lo verdaderas que son estas palabras, vivimos en un mundo donde las opciones y los estímulos son tantos que ya no nos tomamos ni un minuto para apreciar las pequeñas cosas: un día soleado, una taza de té/café, agradecer que tenemos la posibilidad de tener comida cada día. Y aunque parecen cosas simples y obvias, no nos damos cuenta lo afortunados que somos porque siempre estamos pensando que podemos obtener algo mejor (no estoy diciendo que eso sea malo), y simplemente dejamos de apreciar las cosas que tenemos y vivimos en la insatisfacción por las cosas que no tenemos. Hoy me propongo apreciar estas pequeñas cosas y también apreciar a las personas con las que hablo, apreciar que pueden convertirse en futuras amistades y que por el simple hecho de ser personas y animarse a hablar con un desconocido merecen que se les preste atención sin expectativas ni presiones, solo abriendome a conocerlos por quienes son... Esto es algo que a mi me cuesta mucho lograr: mantener la atención y el enfoque en abrirme a conocer personas nuevas.
