Life was never gentle,
but now it feels like a storm that never ends.
The language of my heart has gone silent,
and tears
they no longer come.
The pain is there,
but it hides itself,
perhaps because hiding has become my second skin.
The feet that once held my hands steady,
teaching me to walk with courage
now tremble, uncertain, fragile.
And to watch them falter
is to watch my soul break,
again and again,
with every breath of every day.
Yet in this cruel test of time,
I find a strange strength blooming in me,
a strength even I don’t recognize.
Perhaps this is God’s secret design
not all are made equal,
but some are chosen to carry
an unseen fire within.
Time…
it takes, it heals, it asks for patience.
And I am ready now,
ready to embrace whatever comes,
for I have learned:
in the shadow of suffering,
the true light of people is revealed.
And for those rare souls,
who held my hand in the darkness,
who stood firm when the world collapsed
my heart bows in quiet reverence.

Watching Mother (2018) was an emotional rollercoaster for me. It’s not just a drama, it’s an experience that lingers in your heart long after the last episode ends. The story of Soo-jin and little Hye-na touched me so deeply — the pain of neglect, the cruelty of abuse, and then the healing power of chosen love and sacrifice.
Every episode made me feel something — anger, sadness, hope, and even tears of relief. Lee Bo-young’s performance as Soo-jin is incredible, but the true gem is Heo Yool as Hye-na. For such a young actress, the way she delivered those raw emotions left me speechless. Their bond felt so real, so mother-daughter, that I forgot I was watching fiction.
This drama is not easy — it’s heartbreaking, intense, and heavy — but it is also beautiful. It makes you think about what motherhood really means, about protection, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
By the end, I felt broken yet healed at the same time. Mother is definitely one of the most powerful and unforgettable K-dramas I’ve ever watched. It’s emotional, deep, soul-stirring, and it stays with you.♥️♥️♥️♥️

decision, choice, encounter,person, mistake, lesson, step forwards, step backwards,heartbreak,love,failure,breakthrough, dream...are the little dots that create the sum of your entire life. Each experience leads to the next and although in the present moment it may seem that everything is scattered and all over the place, one day soon you will be able to connect the dots between each part of your life. When you do, you will have the realization that a life void of even just one of those dots, would not have made you the person that you are. Trust that in this life, everything happens as it should, in a way that is right for you. Maintain that faith, and you will experience the liberation that you are seeking
