Use in when it’s a small, enclosed vehicle where you mostly sit. Use “on” (big transport you share with others): on a bus 🚌 on a train 🚆 on a plane ✈️ on a ship / boat 🚢 on a subway / metro 🚇 👉 Example: “I was on the train when it started moving.” Use “in” (small/private transport): in a car 🚗 in a taxi 🚕 in a truck 🚚 in a van 🚐 in a helicopter 🚁 👉 Example: “I was in the car waiting for my friend.” ⚡ Quick Trick to Remember: If you can walk around → use “on.” If you can’t (too small) → use “in Good one! 🚲 Motorbikes and bicycles are a little special. We say on a bike or on a motorcycle, not in. 👉 Why? Because you sit on top of it (like sitting on a chair or a horse), not inside. ✅ “I’m on my bike.” ✅ “He’s riding on a motorcycle.” ⚡ Trick: Inside = in (cars, taxis, small vehicles).
