I firmly believe that everything around us is relative, and there's no absolute in this world of ours except for Allah, the Creator, glory be to Him. He alone holds the absolute and the relative, and He is the sole constant in a changing universe. Nothing lasts forever. Everything has a "balance that eventually runs out." This is evident in the simplest and most profound aspects of our lives: Happiness and Sadness: We'll never live in perpetual happiness, nor will we drown in endless sorrow. Every phase passes and changes, teaching us to cherish the good moments and to know that any bitterness will eventually fade. Love and Hate: Even our deepest emotions, like love and hate, are relative. They can shift, change, and dissipate with time and circumstances. Human relationships are complex and fluid; no emotions remain constant with the same intensity forever. Strengths and Flaws: What I might consider a strength in myself or others, someone else might see as ordinary or even a flaw. Our perspectives and evaluations of people and matters depend entirely on our viewpoint, experiences, and personal standards. Understanding that everything in our world is relative brings great psychological comfort and makes us more adaptable to life's ups and downs. It helps us to be: More accepting of change: We learn that change is a natural part of life, rather than resisting it. Less attached to material things: Since everything is fleeting, we know that its true value is temporary, which lessens our attachment to it. This is what "this world" truly means. The only absolute, the everlasting bliss, is in Jannah (Paradise), Allah willing. On the complete contrary, if lemons are heated to a certain temperature, the Vitamin C in them breaks down and loses its nutritional value. This natural phenomenon holds a profound lesson for us as humans. The difficulties and trials we go through in our lives can affect us in two opposing ways: They might strengthen and refine us, bringing out our best and revealing our resilience and endurance. Or they might weaken and break us, negatively impacting our energy and spirit. I firmly believe that this effect largely depends on each individual's nature, essence, character, makeup, or way of thinking. How we respond to challenges determines whether the experience builds us up or breaks us down.
