## 1. 8/25/2025

"When should I use ‘congratulations’ and when should I use ‘best wishes’?"

Here’s the difference:

Congratulations 🎉 → Used when someone has achieved something or reached a milestone.
Examples:

Congratulations on your promotion!

Congratulations on winning the award!

Congratulations on your new baby!

Best wishes 🌸 → Used to express goodwill for the future, often when someone is starting something new or about to face something.
Examples:

Best wishes for your new job.

Best wishes on your wedding day.

Best wishes for your exam.

✨ Sometimes, you can even use them together: “Congratulations on your graduation, and best wishes for your future.”

Skeptical with his behavior or on his behavior

Here's how it works:

"Skeptical of his behavior" Most natural

"Skeptical about his behavior" Also fine, commonly used.

"Skeptical with his behavior" - wrong

"Skeptical on his behavior"→ Not idiomatic, sounds off.

Best choices:

I'm skeptical of his behavior.

I'm skeptical about his behavior.

## 4. 8/20/2025

"peace" vs. "truce"? 🕊️

**Peace** is a state of no war or conflict, a lasting agreement, and often involves harmony and friendship. Think of it as the end goal!

**Truce** is a temporary stop to fighting, a ceasefire. It's usually for a short time to discuss terms or bury the dead, not a permanent end to conflict. It's a pause, not the resolution.

Basically, a truce is a short break in fighting, while peace is the complete absence of it.
