During this time, I cut my hair really short. I noticed some girls looking my direction, so I smiled and said hello. Immediately, they were very friendly. They were visiting Los Angeles on a field trip from Japan! We exchanged English and Japanese together. I was so happy! Despite the language barrier, I had so much fun talking to them.
