Tarih kokan sokaklarda her birinin yaşayan birer kanıtını görmek halen mümkün. The Ottoman period Istanbulu had a mosaic structure where people of different races and cultures came together. People from many different ethnic backgrounds who believe in different religions have lived together for centuries; it is of course a wonderful historical fact. The most accurate place where we can trace this multicultural and tolerant life in the past is Istanbul's Cibali, Lantern and Balat districts. Imagine such a place; in it, the synagogue, the church and the mosques are only a few hundred meters from each other. Even if these three separate heavenly religions are symbols of sects within which they are separated. Here are the three neighborhoods we will be discussing in this article, all with these unique features.
