After lunch, I made my son’s birthday cake with him. Afterward, I usually drive my daughter to dance class, but unfortunately, the mechanical parking lot was out of order when we left. So we had to walk there in the crazy hot weather. After we got back, my son usually goes to swimming school with my husband, but my husband had a fever this afternoon. My son went there on his own, but I had to pick him up after the lesson instead of my husband. On top of that, I also managed to make different meals for the kids and my husband, so I was really busy all day. Today, my husband brought home two kinds of fancy white bread. He said he’s going to eat a slice of each tomorrow morning. I kind of want to try his bread too, but since we already have the two packs I bought, I feel like I should eat those first. He has been trying to complete it, but I think it’s extremely hard. All the pieces are black and small, so it’s hardly possible to find the correct piece. When you complete the puzzle, you can see four different marks on the back that line up. At first, he was connecting the pieces with the pieces flipped over, using that as a clue. But I said, “Isn’t that cheating?” Then he turned the pieces back over and quietly kept looking for the right one.
