Thoughts after a Crappy Date 🤢😅

Never forget that someone who truly loves you, in a healthy way, will never try to cut your wings or make you dependent on him.
On the contrary, he will encourage and help you to fly on your own, because he want you to thrive even when he is not around. He wouldn't want to lock you in a golden cage
Always trust your intuition, it doesn't matter if the other promises you to love yourself deeply, to cover you with gifts or blablabla, just run 🏃🏻‍♀️, it's a big red flag 🚩🚨

Disclaimer: It's valid for women and men.

Some plants don’t need to be watered every day, each one is different 💧🌱🌷🌺

To grow something doesn’t mean to grow it at the same pace. Don’t try to fill the emptiness of one person with another, nor your own emptiness with someone else. It’s a bad idea to try to see in another person what you need for yourself.

You must accept the empty garden in order to care for it once it’s full. ✨

It is healthier to accept our solitude, to appreciate the time we have with ourselves, the emotions and challenges we go through between us and ourselves. Even if it’s not easy, it will put less pressure on us and reduce the urge to rush into a friendship, because bad friendships can ruin our life experiences.
But by tending to our garden alone and taking the time to tame it, we actually learn to choose and welcome what will be, in our eyes, the most beautiful seeds. 🌱💐🌹🌺🌷🪷🌸

## 4. 8/12/2025

Accept that not all seeds will grow 🪾

Just because you’ve met someone and had a great connection doesn’t mean you’re necessarily going to become friends.
There are people you’ll get along with really well, but who aren’t meant to stay in your life forever.

Some people are going through very difficult things which makes them unable to establishing relationships and having deep links with someone in the long term.
You have to accept letting people go, allowing them to simply pass through your life when it requires it.

Being in this mindset makes us much more able to embrace friendships that will last, because we’re not constantly waiting or stressing about losing someone if they’re not present every day.
Sometimes, giving time and space in a friendship allows a strong and deep relationship to grow when we least expect it.

## 5. 8/11/2025

After listening 👂🏻 , observed 👀 without imposing our presence 🙅🏻‍♀️

We must water 💧what nourishes us 🌷

If you give, give, give, but receive nothing in return, you should ask yourself some questions.
In friendship or in any relationship, if we are honest with ourselves, none of them is truly based on the idea of “I expect nothing in return.”
If you think about it, even a mother raising her child expects something in return, at the very least respect, love, or affection.
So if you give a lot but receive nothing back, not even a smile 😊, not even a little time spent with you, or even a simple “How are you?”
you should ask yourself.

Am I truly building a friendship, or is it just because I have no one else to talk to?

which brings us to the next post...

## 6. 7/17/2025

After socializing like a gardener 🌱

The second point is: we need to

 “Listen👂🏻, observe 👀, and not impose 🙅🏻‍♀️ ”
Your presence is more valuable than your performance when it comes to getting to know people.
If you're constantly performing, showing off your skills, trying to take up all the attention and space in an interaction, unfortunately, you won’t leave enough space for the other person to open up and for you to truly get to know them.
In the end, you’ll end up creating a kind of friendship with yourself, in which the other person has no space to build a real connection.
So, just like a gardener, you don't force a plant to grow — aka friendship — but you create the right conditions for that friendship to blossom.

which brings us to the next post...

## 7. 7/16/2025

A year ago, I decided to renew my circle of friends, to let go of the friendships that no longer brought anything positive into my life, to cherish the ones that add sparkle to my days, and to open myself up to new connections.
In that spirit, I came across a beautiful piece of writing yesterday by someone using the username @mycowell, all about friendship.
I'll try to convey these ideas in my upcoming posts 😊

First: Socialize like a gardener 🌱
Every relationship, like soil, carries a story. Some are very fertile, some are damaged, and some are in the process of healing.
Every person we meet is like a piece of soil. When planting in a garden, we don't always know the condition of the soil.
Is it contaminated by chemicals? Is it healing? Or is it rich and ready to welcome any kind of plant?
That, we simply don't know.
For exemple, when we meet people while traveling abroad, we have no idea what state of mind they’re in.

Which brings me to the second point in my next post

## 9. 5/21/2025

Many people spend their lives searching for love or validation from others, without ever learning to love or validate themselves, and that’s often the reason they never find what they’re looking for.

Because when you don’t love yourself, you unconsciously look for something in others that they can’t truly give you an inner emptiness. You become dependent on their attention, affection, or approval, and even when you get it, it’s never enough. The insecurity always comes back, because it comes from within.

As long as you don’t give yourself what you’re seeking from others, respect, love, validation, nothing external will ever truly heal that emptiness.
