"Why do you wanna learn a new language?” A lot of people ask me this — so here’s a funny little story 😂 I once explored a new country and went off the beaten path, outside the city. I was confident because people in the city spoke English, and I had my trusty translation app. What could go wrong, right? Well… I entered this cozy local restaurant (packed with people, so I knew the food would be good), only to realize: *The entire menu was in their native language. *The staff didn’t speak English *And my phone internet signal? Gone. Dead. Bye. 😩 I struggled so bad just trying to order. Thankfully, a kind local helped me out. And wow — the food? 100/10! No regrets at all. Moral of the story: Next time I travel, I’m learning at least the basics of the language. You never know when it’ll save your stomach and your soul 😅🌍
