Anyway i guess getting more input is important when it comes to language learning so here i am continuing! I LOVE how Dian Sastro describes Dashiya here. It’s exactly how i felt while watching the series. In the novel, it was more about his wild, adventurous experiences -the kind of outside world she never had known firsthand- that she was drawn to. Which makes sense but i feel like this kretek-obsessed Dashiya captures what the title implies even better!
