It's a little more complicated than that. I often hear questions like 'how hot is it in Australia?' or 'how cold is it in Australia now?'. If you look on the map, it shows the northern part of Australia is hot and humid the further north you go. Oppositely, it's cooler as you go further south. The northern part of Australia is hot and humid as it's very close to the equator. They have two seasons; wet and dry.
