I hope you all are doing well. Recently, in Indonesia, there has been a hot issue on social media regarding Korean racism towards Indonesians on a site called Indosarang. Therefore, I want to state my opinion. Firstly, of course, this really hurts me as an Indonesian. How could it not be? This racism not only demeans the people and country of Indonesia but also insults religion, which is a very sensitive and fatal matter. When I heard this news, I was not really surprised because I often hear about the racism and discrimination issues in SK. However, I couldn't hide my anger and annoyance when I read the writing on the website. But I don't want to retaliate against their behavior, because I think I would be no different from them if I did the same thing. But here I decided to speak up because I’m sure that if I just let it go, they will continue to do it unless I act firmly to oppose and fight racism itself. However, I would like to emphasize that not all Koreans are like this. I don't want to generalize it, though. So far, Korean friends that I know who have met in person and who communicate on HT are nice people, and I hope that’s genuine and truly from the heart. 
Racism can occur in any country; the problem is basically the people or individuals concerned. I just don't understand why there are people who behave like that. Do they feel superior by vilifying other races? Do they feel great about doing that? Actually, they are the saddest people. These kinds of people are very dangerous because they feel there's nothing wrong with their thoughts, attitudes, and behavior. 
I truly hope there is no more room for racism on this earth. Hopefully, we can always appreciate the beauty of differences, more often than not, and also educate ourselves more about other cultures so we can practice genuine care and concern for others with right intentions. Because diversity is what makes the world such a beautiful place. ## Images 1.
