OMG「なくて」 is a pain in the head! 🤣 1️⃣魚じゃなくて肉が食たべたい。👉 Is this okay? 2️⃣試験は難しくなくてよかったです。👉 In this case, 難しい is translated to negative form 難しくない and then to 難しくなくて to say something like "the fact that is not difficult", right? And is this form only in present tense and not in past tense?? Only よかった is in past?? Is it not like saying that "I WAS happy" Why is it like that if what I'm trying to say is that I am happy NOW that the exam WAS NOT difficult.
