日本語には、英語に直訳しても意味が変わらない表現が結構あるって気づいた。 I've noticed that there's a lot of phrases in Japanese that interestingly enough, can be directly translated to English and have the same meaning. 例えば: 手を貸す・To lend a hand 例文: ちょっと手を貸してね ・ Gimme a hand real quick どちらの言語でも意味は誰かを手伝うで、文字通りには誰かに「手をあげる」ということだ In both languages it means to help someone out and has the same literal meaning of "giving your hand" to someone これ以外、絶対にいっぱいあるけど今思い出せない There's definitely lot more aside from this but I can't remember right now 😂
