Hello Friends, When I am in my hometown, if I have an opportunity, then I am going to go to La Prieta Mamona for tacos. This is a taqueria owned by friends who love animals the way I do and who rescued a black female lab. She is spoiled and one of the Spanish words to describe a stuck up or pretentious person depending on the gender is to call them mamon (male) or mamona (female). So the dog’s name is La Prieta Mamona and they named the taqueria after her. I enjoyed the choriqueso, elotito, two arrancherà tacos and two trompo negro tacos with pineapple. I washed it down with some fresh hibiscus, guava juice. It was delicious! Stay hungry my friends!
