I have recommended my Dutch friend to try to cook it. Apparently Japanese stew is not common in western countries. A western person said stew is brown so it’s not stew but clam chowder. For Japanese people, stew means white cream stew, and they definitely have eaten it at school lunch. It’s as much popular as curry rice for children. It’s an efficient menu to let children who hate vegetables and milk eat.
