🌟 Did you know Alaa Aldain’s story isn’t really Disney’s invention? Everyone knows Aladdin — flying carpets, magic lamps, and the catchy “Open, sesame!” (Iftah ya simsim) 😄 The original tale comes from One Thousand and One Nights (ألف ليلة وليلة), and “Open, sesame!” isn’t even from Aladdin’s story! 😆 The city of the story is Agrabah, which was actually inspired by Baghdad, Iraq’s capital, because in the early script, the story was set there. Later, Disney changed it to a fictional city of Agrabah What about "Open Semseam" in the old tales from One Thousand and One Nights (Arabian Nights), “sesame” is thought to be a magical seed/plant. When the seed pod ripens, it bursts open — so the word “sesame” symbolizes opening magically 🌟 So, Magic lamp? ✅ Flying carpet? ✅ Geography? ❌ “We’ll just… wing it!” 😄😁
