You're daily reminder to not treat your kids like crap with this verse. Some parents like to use the Bible against their kids to get them to listen but in doing so they pick amd choice from the bible which it says not to do and is a sin. You do not cut verses and just say parts of the verse. " you shall not take from or alter this book." When you alter the bible you're essentially trying to alter the word of God because that's what the Bible is the word of God. And just so you know theirs not just verses about honoring you're parents there's verses on treating your children well. So I don't understand some parents thinking they can treat their children like crap but they're children gotta honor them. ( sorry for ranting guys I saw this article that made me angry.) And don't get angry at the word of God get angry at the people manipulating it. Because if you read the whole verse and not just what was told to you u will start to understand the bible isn't what you thought it was and there's context.
