Homecooked Supper time! Today's menu:芥蓝炒牛肉(“Chinese kale with beef thigh meat stir Fry”) “芥蓝 ”is a native vegetable variety in Southern China provinces like 广东、广西、福建 and 云南. It has cute small white flowers on top,tastes very juicy. It is a healthy vegetable with rich dietary fiber. Now I heard it has been exported to many other countries like Japan、Russia 、US and middle east countries like Dubaiدبي. If anyone know this vegetable ,would you mind to comment below the name of it in your country?☺ This beef dish “芥蓝炒牛肉”,we Chinese's recipe is to use edible corn starch or sweet potato starch😜. Edible corn or sweet potato starch,with a little water ,it is the key,it is for marinating the long strip shape sliced beef. This step we call it “腌制牛肉”,the purpose is to make the beef qualitytender and soft,because beef will be taste stiff and hard to chew if directly go to the stir fry's process.
