I figured that I should just focus on studying vocab, kanji, and grammar for now, and I can learn how to write later. In this age where we can communicate using technology, it feels to me that writing is not as essential as it once used to be, and I rarely write even in English these days. I still feel that this has been the right choice, but I notice that I end up mistaking a lot of visually-similar kanji with each other, for example 「連」and 「運」and also 「動」and「働」.
