”나는 그거에 대해서 처음 들어.“ A little joke I have with my Korean teacher — he starts explaining grammar, and I go, “This is the first time I’m hearing about it.” 😄 I started learning Korean in my free time because my friend was too shy to join a class on her own. So I went with her as moral support. I’m a good friend, right? :) Since then, another friend and I decided to do a bikepacking trip to Korea this year. My motivation to study isn’t always steady — some days are great, and other days I don’t even touch my textbook for a whole week. But overall, learning new things about Korea — the culture, the food, the history, and daily life — is just fascinating. I honestly can’t wait to say again, ”나는 그거에 대해서 처음 들어.“
