Yesterday, we had a short story reading session at a teahouse by Nanhu Lake. We read The Other Woman by Colette in English. The story begins like this: “Table for two? This way, Monsieur, Madame… There’s still a table by the window, if Madame and Monsieur would like a view of the bay.” By pure coincidence, we were sipping tea while reading, with an equally stunning lake view right before us.
