🇨🇻 Amílcar Cabral (1924–1973) was a revolutionary, intellectual and nationalist leader of Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde. He was an influential political thinker, defending African unity and the importance of culture in the anti -colonial struggle. Cabral is considered one of the greatest revolutionary thinkers in Africa. His writings on liberation, culture and neocolonialism remain influential today.
