I am shocked by the Chinese communication culture. Saying hello is not accepted, asking how you are is not accepted, asking what you are doing is not accepted, saying goodbye or wishing sweet dreams is not accepted. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not customary to write hieroglyphs like that either.
