After checking out, I still had about an hour until lunchtime, so I decided to go to Mishima Taisha Shrine. A seasonal ritual called "Chino wa kuguri" , which means passing through the ring, was being held, where we cleanse ourselves of the first half of the year's impurities , and start the rest half of year with a fresh mind. チェックアウトした後、ランチの時間までまだ1時間くらいあったので、三島大社に行くことにしました。茅の輪くぐりというこの時期ならではの神事が行われていて、この半年の穢れを清め、新たな気持ちで今後の半年に臨むことができます。 I don't think I've done anything wrong in the past six months, but I think it's not a bad idea to think about the next half year again. It made me think about things I planned to do this year, but still I haven't. この半年間に何かいけないことをしたとは思いませんが、この後の半年への思いを新たにすることは悪くないです。今年やろうと思っていてまだできていないことを思い出したりしました。
