Is it same all of the world? In Japan. I don't know now. But in my generation. Like this. 男「お嬢さんを下さい」 Give me your daughter please. 義父「娘は物やない。やらん」 She is not a goods. I don't 男「お嬢さんと結婚させて下さい」 I want to get married to your daughter. 義父「わかった。だかその前にお前を殴らせろ」 OK. But I want to panch you before married. This song uses a good phrase. 🎵Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life 🎵 I was moved! especially "for the rest of my life ". I long for this phrase. Actually I already practice this phrase many times.
