أَبا هِندٍ فَلا تَعَجَل عَلَينا وَأَنظِرنا نُخَبِّركَ اليَقينا O son of Hind, do not haste to judge us, Be patient, and we'll show you truth without fuss. 勿忙裁我稍容緩， 靜待真理自呈現。 بِأَنّا نورِدُ الراياتِ بيضاً وَنُصدِرُهُنَّ حُمراً قَد رَوينا For we march forth with banners pure and white, But when we return, they’re stained red with fight. 白旗迎風前行高， 血染回時戰鬥豪。 بِأَيِّ مَشيئَةٍ عَمرُو بنَ هِندٍ تُطيعُ بِنا الوُشاةَ وَتَزدَرينا By what right, O 'Amr, do you obey the lies, Of slanderers who bring you down in our eyes? 何故阿姆信讒言， 讓誹謗者貶我顏？ تَهَدَّدنا وَأَوعِدنا رُوَيداً مَتى كُنَّا لِأُمِّكَ مَقتَوينا You threaten us, and warn us with disdain, When have we ever bowed to your mother's reign? 威脅我輩慢慢來， 何曾屈膝你母胎？ فَإِنَّ قَناتَنا يا عَمرُو أَعيَت عَلى الأَعداءِ قَبلَكَ أَن تَلينا Our spears, O 'Amr, have baffled every foe, They bend for none, no matter the blow. 吾槍敵人皆難折， 無論強攻亦不屈。 وَقَد عَلِمَ القَبائِلُ مِن مَعَدٍّ إِذا قُبَبٌ بِأَبطَحِها بُنينا The tribes of Ma'add know well our pride, When tents in Al-Abtah are raised far and wide. 部落皆知吾之榮， 阿布塔帳遍地擎。 بِأَنا المُنعِمونَ إِذا قَدَرنا وَأَنّا المُهلِكونَ إِذا اِبتُلينا We are the generous when power's in our hand, And we are the destroyers when faced with a stand. 若有權時施恩惠， 若遇敵時無情催。 وَأَنّا المانِعونَ لِما أَرَدنا وَأَنّا النازِلونَ بِحَيثُ شينا We withhold what we wish with iron grip, And we go where we please, without a slip. 若願攔阻我自決， 隨處行止無阻滯。 وَنَشرَبُ إِن وَرَدنا الماءَ صَفواً وَيَشرَبُ غَيرُنا كَدَراً وَطينا We drink the water, pure, when we arrive, While others find it muddied to survive. 清泉入口我先飲， 餘者濁水淤泥浸。 لَنا الدُنيا وَمَن أَضحى عَلَيها وَنَبطِشُ حينَ نَبطِشُ قادِرينا The world is ours, with all who dwell upon, We strike with might, when our power's drawn. 天下萬物皆屬我， 出手之時勢如火。
