日本語では“must”と”have to”と”can’t help but to”が表れる文法が多いと思います。

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gZXbxp3RSzA

この歌のサビに「Must be Santa!」

「beard that’s white,
comes at night 」

その二つの点は「who is it?」

例えば、父は息子に戒めること:「You must be good tonight, or you won’t get any dessert!」

Aさん: 「I didn’t eat anything all day!」
Bさん:「You must be so hungry! Let’s order!」

「He must not be home.」⭕️
「Seems/looks like he’s not home.」⭕️
「He must be out」⭕️
「He’s probably out.」⭕️

新入社員:「...and then after lunch I was asked to prepare a presentation for next week! That’s on top of (in addition to) the other two projects I have!」

あなた:「That sounds rough. It must be difficult to make any progress!」

っていう言葉は場合によって「That must be difficult (for him/her)!」
