Today, as promised a while ago, I'm going to talk to you about a subject that's far from "fun," but it's necessary to navigate: Grief We often hear about it when someone dies, but it's also necessary in our romantic lives. According to some books, grief has seven stages: -Shock and Denial -Pain and Guilt -Anger & Bargaining -Depression -The Upward Turn Stage -The Reconstruction & Working Through Stage -The Acceptance & Hope Stage There's no particular order to follow. Everyone experiences grief in their own way. I have the advantage of having buried many people I cared about, so I was able to move quickly through my romantic separation from my ex-wife. However, I still needed to express, in one way or another, what I was feeling. So I did it through music lyrics. Today, I'm sharing with you not just one song, but a playlist of two songs (which will gradually increase to seven). Grieving is a slow and painful process that we always go through alone, despite the support of our loved ones. Others may "understand," but never truly know how we experience it. If you're experiencing this kind of situation, find a way, like I did, to express all these emotions and release them.
