In those cases, I try to translate my Japanese into English via HT AI, but honestly, I can’t understand the result at all. It’s probably because Japanese often omits the subject and object, so the HT AI can’t really tell who’s doing what in the sentence. When I DM with people who speak other languages, I have to clearly say the subject. Also, when you are DM with Japanese and there’s slang or something you can’t see and you want to know the meaning, it’s easiest way to just copy and paste the sentence into an AI app and get a translation that includes the nuance as well, instead of using HT’s AI. For me, I think Grok is the best. It answers based on X’s database, which has over 600 million monthly active users worldwide.
