今日はブラジルと日本人のハーフ男と話した。 Today I spoke to a half Brazilian, half Japanese man. もう知り合いだけど、初めてにお母さんはポルトガル語を話して、全然わからなくて、フィリピン人と思っていたんだ。 We were already acquainted, but when we first met, his mother was speaking Portuguese, and since I didn’t understand it at all I just assumed he was Filipino. 彼のシャツにはひらがながあったのを気づいたので、それについて聞いた。後で日本人のハーフでいるのを習った。 I noticed his shirt had some Hiragana on it so I asked him about it. That’s when I learned that he was part Japanese. 彼にはブラジルの文化と料理はもっと似合ってると言った。だから俺は日本に住みたい事は面白い話題だった。 He said that Brazilian culture and cuisine suit him better, so me wanting to live in Japan became a very interesting topic.
