My mom has come to visit me in Michigan so I’m spending the weekend with her. I missed her a lot. I’m an adult now but I get to act a bit like a kid again when she’s around. I hope one day I can be even more like her. We got to spend Yom Kippur together and it was nice to have someone to go to temple with this year. Services took up most of the day and then we broke the fast together at sundown. Yom Kippur isn’t a fun holiday but it can be a meaningful one if you make it so. So to all my Jewish friends on here, I hope you had a meaningful fast and גמר חתימה טובה 😌 (The pictures below are from a few days ago when she first arrived)
