❗️ Eventually=/= Eventualmente❌️. NO SON LO MISMO. "Eventually" could have several translations- al final, finalmente, con el tiempo, "tarde o temprano"...(and more that I can't remember now) and usually depends on the context. Ej. -Trabajé muy duro y al final conseguí lo que me proponía. -Voy a esperar en la parada de bus, tarde o temprano tendrá que venir algún bus que me lleve a mi destino. "Eventualmente". In Spanish "eventual" is something that happens sometimes and doesn't happen other times. For example for work "tener un trabajo eventual" means you are temporary working on something you know will end sooner or later. "Eventualmente" is related to this meaning and would mean something along "uncertain" so it's almost the complete opposite meaning. It's not a word that is used frequently on a day-to-day basis and that is what makes it super noticeable for me when English speakers try to use it in Spanish. Ej:- El jefe está muy ocupado, eventualmente se pasa por la oficina pero normalmente trabaja desde casa (meaning he comes to the office just sometimes). - El bus tiene salidas cada hora pero pueden producirse retrasos eventualmente (unnusual changes in the bus timetable could happen) BUT as a lot of words sometimes is even used with the English meaning just because. ( I bet a bilingual confusion is why)
