One of the most difficult things about learning Japanese is learning to carefully phrase things and not be so open from the start. As an American, we often say our feelings or opinions very openly, but I’ve noticed that in Japanese it’s not common to be so blunt. Ive started using “ちょっと...“ and ”あまり“ more and trying not to make my opinions so obvious, but it feels like I’m fighting my own personality sometimes 😂 ぶんかがちがっておもしろいですね
