Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir — and I loved it so much! The mix of science, space, and humor was just perfect. On paper, “a mission to save Earth” might sound a bit cliché. But what really made it stand out for me was the contrast between the scientifically well-built plot and Dr. Grace’s sarcastic humor. Even though there are plenty of heavy science terms, the way the story is told made me feel like I was gradually learning space science — I especially loved the way they communicated before developing a verbal language — I couldn’t stop reading, completely in awe. As for the ending… it was totally unexpected and a bit tricky. But still, I gladly sacrificed my sleep (and some meals) to take this space journey with the Hail Mary. I’m so glad I got to read a book that gave me such a wonderful experience — and meet such a cute character like Rocky!
