It doesn't seem like a big deal at first, until you begin to truly dig in deeper into the meaning behind this harsh truth. You're not struggling simply because you're attached to someone, you're struggling because you've made this person an extension of yourself. Day in and day out, we meet new people. And often, we grow attached to those who seem to have something we deeply desire within ourselves. Stop ignoring the fact that what you crave in someone else might be something you've failed to give yourself. If you're feeling anxious about whether someone will reply or not, ask yourself: "why?" Is it because you have abandonment issues? Or maybe you weren't treated the way you deserved when you were younger? That's why you're unknowingly using others to fill a void in your heart? Don't suppress these emotions, they're happening for a reason. And that reason is either to elevate you or teach you something important. But hear me out... You CAN complete yourself. Yes, it's absolutely possible. And people who come into your life? They're meant to add value, not define your worth. Because believe it or not... YOU ARE ENOUGH and YOU ARE TRULY LOVED. Detachment doesn't mean you care less. You care because you're human, a miracle and a beautiful soul who simply craves for love. And that's not your fault. But if you want a healthy relationship, romantic or not, start with healing yourself and your attachment style. Nurture your inner world and watch everything else follow. (It's almost midnight and for some reason, my brain is full on 100% energy mode LOL.
