While I was in Florida, I saw some adorable swans and even baby swans. But, I've noticed more and more people telling me they have a phobia (to be very afraid of something) of birds, including swans. They are huge, but they also look so elegant that I can't be scared of them. They've been used for so long as symbols of love, beauty, and purity that I just can't view them in a threatening way.
