I headed straight to the lat pulldown machine and asked a guy, “Could I share this machine with you?” “Yes, of course!” he replied kindly, holding onto the grip as if to help me by lowering the weight. “Oh, no, but thank you!” I smiled, confident that I could handle the weight myself. For the first time, I caught him by surprise. When it came to the next set, he reduced the weight by 10kg, but I confidently added the same 10kg back on. “You’re definitely not what you look like!” he exclaimed. At that moment, I felt like all my efforts were finally paying off—I could outperform a man with ease, like a knife slicing through butter. 昨天一下班，我就去了健身房，这是我的练背日。我径直走向高位下拉机，问一个男生：“我可以跟你共用一个器械吗？”“当然可以！”他很友善得回复。然后他握住高位下拉机的握把想帮我减轻重量。“喔，不用，但是谢谢。”我笑着，我非常确信我可以拉起这个重量。这是第一次，我从他的脸上看到惊讶的表情。等到第二组时，他减少了10公斤，我增加了10公斤。“你跟你看起来一点也不一样啊！”他说道。那个时刻，我知道我所有的努力都会有回报，我可以很轻易打败一个男生，轻而易举，不费吹灰之力。 ## Images 1.
