Hey guys ! Since I’m back to my country Benin. I’ve been eating different dishes from the motherland. Here is « Amiwô » ! In Beninese cuisine, amiwô refers in the Fongbé to corn dough cooked in oil (tomatoes sauce). Amiwô is also called '' djèwô or djèwɔ̌ '' which means salted dough as opposed to Wɔ̌ (corn dough) which is cooked without oil or salt. It's also called red paste because of its color due to tomatoe or palm oil.
