Some of the funny moments happened yesterday at my 45th birthday celebration. Because I'm not used to wearing casual dress, I felt like a celebrity; perhaps I resembled Heart (one of the socialites here in the Philippines). Since this was my special day, I put on light makeup. My hubby wanted to assist me, but when he saw what I was doing with my eyebrows, he almost went insane. "Why are you trimming that?" he asked, as if he were verifying an important document. "Is this what I get from you after one month of struggling to select what I would wear today? "Can I request you to compose yourself?" (Still mad) "Don't tell me what to do!" The tension increased, and I also got pissed off. "Next time, I will purchase more elegant dresses, and your permission is not required!" Don't take this seriously; this is our everyday life: clashing, arguing, and teasing. But at the end of the day, we're still together.
