Have you ever tried Miso-Katsu? If you haven’t, you might be missing out! It’s a dish of fried pork cutlet with miso sauce. Most people usually eat pork cutlet with Worcestershire sauce, though. As I mentioned miso-nikomi udon before, miso is a really iconic and well-known paste here in Aichi. It actually originated in Okazaki City, which is in Aichi and the place where I was born and spent my childhood. The taste might be an acquired one for some people, but I absolutely love it. I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT. My blood might as well be miso!😂 I’m definitely going to bring lots of miso to Australia. There are mainly two types of miso in Japan. One is made from rice and is lighter in color, while the other is made from soybeans and is reddish brown. The latter is the one I love!❤️
