I believe that learning is amazing! It expands your world. If you can speak the language of the country you travel to, you can communicate with the locals. If you like it there, you might even be able to live there. If you can’t get a job in your own country, learning another country’s language could help you find work elsewhere. When you know a foreign language, there are no borders—you can go anywhere. However, I know that learning a language is tough and challenging. I still can’t speak well and sometimes end up feeling frustrated with myself. I don’t have much time to study. I make mistakes and feel embarrassed. But if you keep learning, the world you imagined will gradually open up. You’re definitely walking on a path that leads beyond the world you’re in now. When you feel like quitting, try to imagine that. Today, I realized how glad I am that I’m studying English. I was able to communicate with foreigners, and maybe I’ll even make some new friends.
