The Amish in America The Amish, a minority group most of whom live in the United States, live a simple life. They do not use modern technology and conveniences. These photos were taken of an Amish community near my hometown in America. They are transporting their children to school by horse and buggy. Some children are walking to school. The Amish live a very quiet and peaceful life.
